A 7.2-metre aluminium electric deck cruiser
The AluShip E-Bakdekker 720 is a bakdekker: the classic Dutch deck cruiser, with a raised aft deck over a cabin, meant for weekends aboard rather than an afternoon out. It is the electric one of the four in AluShip's Bakdekker range, in aluminium cut and welded in Steenwijk.
The numbers
7.2 m long, 2.52 m in the beam, 1025 kg, drawing 0.55 m with an air draught of 1.10 m. Certified for 10 people, CE design category D. An electric pod drives it, offered across an 8 to 18 kW band and settled in the builder's configurator, so battery, speed and range are not published and are left out rather than guessed. From €63,500 including 21% Dutch VAT.
The builder
AluShip is a Dutch aluminium builder in Steenwijk making its own 5083-grade hulls. The Bakdekker range has four boats, of which this is the fully electric one.
